The MOKKERS in Vienna

Berlin all woman band, the MOKKERS played a thrilling show at the Fluc this May! You can catch their kick-ass 5 song EP on HERE! I do hope they find their way to Vienna again someday.

TRASHBONES in PURGSTALL flyer

I made use of some of the sketches I did after the JACKETS/TRASHBONES show and slammed them on the flyer for last weeks WILD EVEL & THE TRASHBONES show at the Marktfest Purgstall in Lower Austria. Those country kids know how to party, that’s for sure!

HIT GIRLS + ASTRO GIRL RECORDS

Here’s a couple a things I did for the ASTRO GIRL RECORDS label straight out of Italy …BOOM! Up top is the cover of the HIT GIRLS 45 coming out pretty soon, below the back cover, all in illustrated goodness. The HIT GIRLS are kind of a Allstar band with Marilú from PIPERITA PATTIES (NEW album also coming out on Astro Girl!) and Val Ventura who does her own blend of beach Rock’N'Roll + Carlo Le Rat Ramone… and that my friends, should speak for itself.

We also worked out some announcements and promo things for them – there’s more to come, so watch out! As always, be sure to click these pictures for the full-res folks!

KAPUzine

I did this thang for the cover of the KAPUzine, a magazine put out by the infamous KAPU culture space in Linz – this one came out right on time for the NEXT Comic festival in early march. Below you can see two roughs I did beforehand, just to see what direction would be better: A) IDON MINE weird ass jumble-mumble drawing, or B) IDON MINE weird ass jumble-mumble drawing WITH PEOPLE. A) was chosen and then put to print! Print machines have their own way of doing things, so it just decided to make it look like on that photo below! Cool with me!

A NIGHT TO REMEMBER…

“…With the Jackets, Wild Evel & the Trashbones and Bayou Mystere!” BOOM! What a show – gives the Richter scale something to think about!! Serve it with some of the sweet DJing and acrobatics by the SOUNDFLAT RECS dudes and you got a marvelous shitsweep done!

Yes I’m talking about that show, that VERY show I did a local flyer for last week ——-> HERE! Don’t wonder why I’m freakin out, it was a special night for me, lot’s of love thrown around, just the way Rock’N'Roll is supposed to be! Alright enough pampering from me, some more pampering from my brush: Here are some sketches concerning that night, for your eyeballin pleasure. Hope you dig and if you can, catch this Rock’N'Roll circus on one of it’s future stops in April! IT’S RECOMMENDED!

APEPHONIE logo + SWEET STUFF

There’s lot’s of fun stuff happening, I’ll start with this: Up top’s a quick ass flyer image I did for A.T.M.’s show on the 17th in Vienna – Then there’s a screenprinted version of the APEPHONIE RECORDS logo I did for my buddy A.T.M. – you know the same guy & owner of said institution! Check it out HERE!

You can also see some of the other sweet garment posters he produced with his stuff on them. He’s got a lot of swell stuff in the bank, that’s gonna be released all over 2012, but starting it off is Swiss band, err gang of R’N'R carnivors, WOLF WOLF! The tape comes with a info flyer and a spray can painted Wolf mask gimmik! You can see them play on some videos on their site, where there’s also say about this tape on a Swiss TV show. Well, not this very one, I got, you know…

It was cool noticing, that my artist buddy & all around big shot talent Corinne Odermatt did an awesome shirt for these guys. Check it out on her site HERE! She’s also the designer behind thee grrrreat official JACKETS records release tour Poster.
